The Matyushkin Ma 24 is currently classified by the [[Red Army]] as an attack helicopter, although this has changed from other classifications. the former tsarist [[Bolshevik Party]] classified it as a fixed wing aircraft and the Red Army formerly classified it as a transport helicopter. This classification was changed after sentient attack helicopters that defected and were reloaded into the Ma 24 claimed that they self identified as attack helicopters.<br />
